Pastor Roy H. Prince and Desiree
Pastor Roy H. Prince graduated from Baptist Bible College in 1980. He and Desiree met there and were married in May of 1978. He was on staff for 32 years at Bible Baptist Temple in Tulsa, Oklahoma, 22 of those years as the Senior Pastor. He became the Senior Pastor of Northgate Baptist Church in June of 2013. They have three sons who with their wives and families faithfully serve the Lord.

On September 3, 2023 Northgate celebrated 70 years of ministry in the city of McAlester. We are a Bible based, missions minded, Independent Baptist Church. At Northgate the teaching and preaching of God's Word using the King James version of the Bible will help you understand the Bible and apply its truth to your life. In our services we sing hymns that honor God and are uplifting to the Believer. The sound preaching of God's Word and the fellowship with God's people will encourage you.

Note: King's Kids is a program for children in which the emphasis is on scripture memory. It is a time of fun and Bible learning for the kids.

Pastor Prince will preach from these two chapters in Galatians which offer great spiritual help and encouragement.
first sunday fellowship May 3 , 2026
The first Sunday of most months we have what we call a first Sunday fellowship. We will have Sunday school @ 10, the morning service @11 and then we will have lunch and wonderful fellowship. The food and fellowship are always good! We do not have an evening service on this Sunday.

We would like to invite all mothers to attend. Sunday School will be at 10 and morning service at 11. We will have a special gift for each mother who attends. We would be honored if you would join us. Evening service will be at 5:30.
